Anticipation Grows for 'Ramayana' as Release of Second Part Faces Delay
Upcoming Release of 'Ramayana'
The eagerly awaited first installment of director Nitesh Tiwari's film 'Ramayana' is set to hit theaters soon. However, recent reports indicate that fans may have to wait longer than anticipated for the sequel. Originally scheduled for a Diwali 2027 launch, producer Namit Malhotra is now contemplating a delay until Diwali 2028 for 'Ramayana 2'.
Reasons Behind the Delay of 'Ramayana 2'
What is causing the postponement?
Reports suggest that the production team needs more time to finalize the filming of 'Ramayana 2'. The sequel includes several significant battle scenes that are being designed on a grand scale, prompting the producers to consider a one-year delay.
While the first part is set to premiere shortly, some segments of the second part remain unfilmed. The epic scale of 'Ramayana' will be fully realized in the sequel, which centers around the war. Therefore, additional time is essential for the development of these crucial sequences. However, no official statement has been made regarding a revised release date.
