Anticipation Builds for War 2 as Hrithik Roshan Teases Fans

The upcoming film War 2 is generating significant buzz among fans as it approaches its release in 2025. This highly anticipated movie will showcase two major stars, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, and audiences are eager to see their collaboration. Recently, Hrithik Roshan stirred excitement with a post directed at his co-star Jr NTR, hinting at something special related to the film's teaser.

In a message on X, Hrithik stated, "Hey @tarak9999, think you know what to expect on the 20th of May this year? Trust me you have NO idea what’s in store. Ready? #War2."

Fans speculate that the teaser for War 2 might be revealed on May 20, coinciding with Jr NTR's birthday.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is set to hit theaters globally on August 14, 2025.

In a previous conversation with Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt, Jr NTR discussed some creative differences he had with director Ayan Mukerji during filming. He mentioned, "When I was shooting for War 2, Ayan did not know what was going to come. Because he was trying to bring it out from me, that’s how this was going to come out. I told him, ‘Ayan, I am very instinctive; kuch na kuch aa jayega (something will come).’ Now, he is not used to doing this at all; he loves prep, and I am completely the opposite. And then Adi Sir was there in between, who said, ‘It’s ok, it’s ok, I get it.’"

He further elaborated, "Too much prep doesn’t give you the chance to explore yourself. South Indian films (sets) have always been chaotically organized. Like, if the prints have to come tomorrow, the team will still ask for one extra hour because they want to make some changes in the edit. The clock is ticking; the prints have to be delivered, but you are still working on the film."

Reports suggest that Kiara Advani will play the female lead in War 2, which follows the first installment that featured Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor.
