She resonated with the film's message, stating, 'dimaag bhool jaata hai par dil kabhi nahi bhoolta (the mind forgets but the heart does not),' which she felt was true for her dadu. She recalled how he often referred to her as Heeraput or Makkhan, and a memorable moment occurred when he recognized her in clips from Saiyaara, calling it 'Makkhan di movie.'

Additionally, she is set to collaborate again with Mohit Suri, Ahaan Panday, and YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani for another romantic musical following Saiyaara, which is still in the pre-production phase.
