Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Bangar's child, Anaya, is gearing up to participate in the upcoming season of Bigg Boss 19. Anaya has undergone a significant gender transformation and has established herself as a transgender athlete, graphic designer, and actor.

As a prominent advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, Anaya has openly discussed her journey, which has been filled with challenges. Reports from ET Times indicate that she will be entering Bigg Boss 19, which is set to premiere on August 24.

The official list of contestants for ‘Bigg Boss 19’ has yet to be revealed.

Typically, each season of ‘Bigg Boss’ lasts for three months, but this upcoming season is anticipated to extend to five months. According to SCREEN, the show will be hosted by the Sikandar star for the initial three months, with other celebrities like Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Anil Kapoor expected to take over later. Bigg Boss 19 will debut on August 24, 2025, airing on Colors TV and JioHotstar.

Reflecting on the previous season, Karan Veer Mehra emerged as the winner, with Vivian Dsena finishing as the first runner-up. Other finalists included Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal, Esha Singh, and Chum Darang.
