Over the past ten years, Anant Joshi has showcased his versatility by taking on a variety of roles. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Golden, the mischievous best friend in Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein. Anant Joshi Reflects on His Role in Maamla Legal Hai

During an interview with Zoom, Anant shared his excitement about reprising his role as Vishwas Pandey, the District Court Manager, in the second season of the Netflix legal comedy Maamla Legal Hai. He noted, "Returning to this character feels more like an ease than mere familiarity. The intrigue builds upon what was established in the first season, making it a thrilling experience. It's akin to falling in love; you yearn to discover more about the character. This season, however, presents a different storyline, which adds to the excitement and curiosity."

The second season features returning cast members including Ravi Kishan, Nidhi Bisht, Naila Grewal, and Anjum Batra, although a third season has yet to be confirmed.

Anticipation for Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 3

While Anant is uncertain about the filming schedule for the already confirmed Season 3 of Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, he acknowledged that his character Golden was pivotal in launching his career. He expressed his fondness for the show's creator, Sidharth Sengupta, and the entire team, eagerly awaiting the opportunity to return to the set for the new season.

Both Golden and Pritam Pandey from 12th Fail have significantly raised his profile. When asked which character fans recognize him for, Anant revealed, "After 12th Fail, Pritam Pandey became the character people most often mention. Randomly, in markets, people approach me saying, 'Sir, humme bhi Delhi le jao.' I hope that Annu from Gullak 5 will evoke similar reactions." Maamla Legal Hai and Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein are currently available for streaming on Netflix, while the fifth season of Gullak premiered on SonyLIV on June 5.
