Mumbai: The iconic star of Hindi cinema, Amitabh Bachchan, seems to have a humorous perspective on the year 2026. On Friday, he took to X, previously known as Twitter, to share a quirky note indicating that two days into 2026, only 363 days remain until 2027.

Recently, actress Mithila Palkar visited the sets of this beloved quiz show and engaged Amitabh in a fun exchange of popular Marathi phrases, asking him to interpret them for the audience. One of her queries was about the term “Shaana.”
With a smile, Amitabh explained, “Someone who thinks they are very smart.” Mithila laughed and confirmed his answer. Sharib Hashmi, who accompanied her, then asked about “Dedh Shaana,” to which Amitabh replied, “A person who tries to act extra smart.”
Mithila was impressed by his quick responses. She later asked him to decode “Sumdi to Komdi.” When Amitabh struggled, she provided a relatable hint, describing it as sneaking into the fridge at midnight for extra Diwali sweets after being told to limit herself.
After a moment, Amitabh brightened up and exclaimed, “Oh yes, stealing!” Their playful banter had the audience in stitches, with Amitabh humorously adding, “I will use this tonight.” Mithila also revisited the slang “Vaat Laagli,” which Amitabh repeated in his unique style, causing more laughter.
