Mumbai, Feb 26: Tollywood star Allu Arjun has shared his enthusiasm about potentially teaming up with actress Mrunal Thakur for an upcoming project.

After winning the 'Best Actor' accolade for his remarkable role in the blockbuster "Pushpa 2: The Rule" at the 70th Filmfare Awards South, Mrunal Thakur congratulated him with a heartfelt note and a lovely bouquet.

In her message, Mrunal expressed, "SIR, heartfelt congratulations on your Filmfare Best Actor win. This recognition is truly deserved. Your dedication, intensity, and brilliance in every performance are genuinely inspiring."

Allu Arjun shared a photo of the bouquet and note on his Instagram, stating his desire to collaborate with Mrunal in the future. He wrote, "Thank you so much @mrunalthakur. That’s very kind of you. I hope we can work together someday."

It’s noteworthy that the two actors have not yet appeared in a film together.

Recently, Allu Arjun received the 'Best Actor In A Leading Role (Male) - Telugu' award for his outstanding performance in Sukumar's "Pushpa 2: The Rule."

After receiving his seventh black Lady, he expressed his gratitude on social media, saying, "Thank you, Filmfare, for this incredible honor. It’s a privilege to receive it in a place where I am cherished so uniquely. I’m grateful for everyone’s support, and I dedicate this award to my fans for their endless love."

Looking ahead, Allu Arjun will reprise his role as Pushpa Raj in the eagerly anticipated third installment of the "Pushpa" series.

His upcoming projects also include "AA23" with director Lokesh Kanagaraj and "AA22xA6" with Atlee.

Meanwhile, Mrunal is set to appear in the film "Dacoit," alongside Adivi Sesh.

Directed by Shaneil Deo, this crime drama will feature Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla in significant roles, among others.
