Ali Fazal, known for his role as 'Guddu Bhaiya' in 'Mirzapur', is making a comeback to the OTT scene, but this time with a different agenda. Instead of engaging in crime, he is determined to bring criminals to justice.

Fazal's upcoming web series, titled *Raakh*, is set to debut on Amazon Prime Video. This investigative thriller is co-written and directed by Anusha Nandakumar and Sandeep Saket.

Plot Overview of *Raakh*

The narrative of *Raakh* delves into the complexities of criminal behavior and the hidden darkness in everyday life. The story begins with the mysterious disappearance of two teenagers, which devastates a once-happy family and instills fear throughout the city. To uncover the truth, a dedicated investigator, portrayed by Ali Fazal, embarks on a nationwide manhunt. However, as he digs deeper, he finds himself ensnared in a harrowing realm of violence and human cruelty.

Cast and Release Details

Alongside Ali Fazal, the series features notable performances from Sonali Bendre and Aamir Bashir in significant roles. *Raakh* will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting June 12, 2026, not only in India but also in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. Following this project, Fazal is also expected to appear in the *Mirzapur* movie and *Bantwara 1947*.
