Akshay Kumar is set to star in a horror comedy titled Bhooth Bangla, which is scheduled to hit theaters on April 17, 2026. Prior to its official release, special paid previews will take place in various theaters at 9 PM on April 16. The anticipation surrounding Bhooth Bangla is palpable, prompting the filmmakers to organize a special screening on April 15 in Mumbai. Numerous celebrities from the Bollywood and television industries attended this exclusive event to catch a glimpse of the film before it debuts on the big screen. This film marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan after a 14-year hiatus, having previously collaborated on hits like Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Bhooth Bangla also features Paresh Rawal, Rajesh Sharma, and the late Asrani, with Kumar dedicating the film to Asrani, who passed away on October 20, 2025.
