Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla Release Date Shifted: What Fans Can Expect!
Release Date Change for Bhooth Bangla
Mumbai: The release date for the much-anticipated horror-comedy film Bhooth Bangla, featuring Akshay Kumar, has been rescheduled.
On Thursday, co-producer Ektaa Kapoor announced the new release date via an Instagram post, revealing that the film's debut has been pushed back due to the impressive box office performance of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh.
Ektaa Kapoor stated, “After discussions with our distributors and exhibitors, we have set a new release date for Bhooth Bangla on April 16, with the first screening at 9 PM. The success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge is great news for our industry, and this adjustment will give both films the attention they deserve. We look forward to welcoming audiences to cinemas on April 16 at 9 PM.”
Originally scheduled for April 10, Bhooth Bangla will now hit theaters on April 16, 2026.
The film features a talented cast including Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta, and Mithila Palkar. This project marks the exciting reunion of Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan, who have previously collaborated on several beloved comedy films, raising expectations for another entertaining experience.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a part of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in collaboration with Cape of Good Films, Bhooth Bangla is produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor, with Priyadarshan at the helm.
With this date change, Dacoit, featuring Adivi Sesh, Anurag Kashyap, and Mrunal Thakur, will now have a solo release on April 10, 2026, produced by Supriya Yarlagadda.
