Akshay Kumar's Health Comes First
Currently in the spotlight due to the success of his film 'Bhoot Bangla', Akshay Kumar has decided to take a short break from work. Recently, he underwent eye surgery while shooting for his upcoming film directed by Anees Bazmee. Known for his busy schedule and multiple film releases each year, the actor is now focusing on his health.
According to a report from a news source, a close insider revealed, "It was a minor surgery that took place on the morning of May 6, aimed at correcting his vision. Akshay will now rest, having completed the Kerala schedule of his next film, which also stars Vidya Balan and Raashi Khanna."
Just a day prior, the actor shared on X that he had wrapped up the shooting schedule. He expressed, "The Kerala schedule is done! There’s nothing like working in a beautiful place with great people. A huge shoutout to our director Anees Bazmee for all the fun behind the camera, and thanks to my amazing co-stars Vidya Balan, Raashi, Chhota Rajpal, and the entire team! This experience was special."
Renowned for his healthy lifestyle, Akshay recently revealed on Wheel of Fortune that he hasn't eaten a samosa in the last 15 years. He questioned, "Where is it written that if someone doesn’t eat a samosa, something will go wrong? Have I made a mistake by not eating samosas?"
Actor Saurabh Shukla also praised Akshay's eating habits in a recent podcast with Siddharth Kannan, stating, "He eats limited food, and he eats it the right way. He enjoys very simple, traditional Indian meals. He eats everything."
