Their daughter, Nitara, made a rare appearance but was shyly hiding behind her mother to avoid the cameras, a sight that fans found endearing. The 13-year-old has maintained a low profile as her parents strive to shield her from media attention during her teenage years. Each time Nitara is spotted, it delights Akshay's fans, showcasing his joyful family life. However, his elder son, Aarav, was not present during this outing.

Akshay's upcoming project, Haiwaan, will reunite him with Saif Ali Khan, but in a different context than their previous collaborations in films like Main Khiladi Tu Anari and Tashan. This film is an official Hindi remake of the 2016 Mohanlal starrer, Oppam, and is expected to be a suspenseful crime thriller.

Earlier in July, the first look of Haiwaan featuring Akshay and Saif was unveiled. Akshay mentioned that between the two, one notices everything while the other overlooks nothing. This suspense thriller is produced by KVN Productions and Thespian Films. The cast also includes Boman Irani, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Saiyami Kher, and the late Asrani. In a previous interview, filmmaker Priyadarshan shared that Asrani filmed for this project just days before his passing, expressing his gratitude for having captured his final performance. Haiwaan is set to hit theaters on September 11.
