'Haivan' will see Akshay Kumar sharing the screen with Saif Ali Khan, marking their first collaboration in 18 years. The duo last appeared together in the 2008 film 'Tashan'. Akshay also recently reunited with Raveena Tandon in 'Welcome to the Jungle' after a long hiatus.

**Inspired by 'Oppam'**
This film is a remake of the 2016 Malayalam movie 'Oppam', which featured Mohanlal. In 'Haivan', Akshay and Saif will be joined by Shreya Pilgaonkar and Saiyami Kher in key roles, while Boman Irani will also play a significant character. Reports indicate that Akshay will portray the film's antagonist. Filming commenced in August 2025.

On Saturday, the production team confirmed that 'Haivan' is set to premiere on September 11 of this year.
