Born in 1991, Akanksha Chamola is an actress based in Mumbai who began her acting career at a young age. Although she has been part of the television industry for several years, she primarily played supporting roles. Her debut came with the popular series Swaragini, where she was featured from 2015 to 2016. Following that, she starred in Bhootu from 2017 to 2018 and appeared in Can You See Me in 2022. Akanksha completed her postgraduate studies in Commerce before pursuing acting.
Earlier this year, she featured in Dil Dhokha Aur Desire on ShermarooMee alongside Kunwarr Amarjeet Singh. Her most recent project is Dabang Policewali, currently available on the Bullet Micro Drama app.

In January, Akanksha addressed rumors about her marriage on Instagram, stating, “Jis rishte ki buniyaad mein sirf zarooratein ho, wahan dil hamesha qurbaan hota hai.” She clarified that the post was unrelated to Gaurav and emphasized her reluctance to share personal matters publicly. “I am not someone who discusses personal matters on social media. The post was meant to promote my upcoming series. It was open to interpretation, but it was blown out of proportion,” she explained.

Gaurav Khanna fell in love with Akanksha at first sight during an audition. He offered her a ride to the next audition, which led to their introduction. At that time, Gaurav was already an established actor while Akanksha was just starting her career. After dating for a few years, they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Kanpur.

During a discussion on Bigg Boss 19, Akanksha expressed her disinterest in having children. She shared with Malti Chahar and Pranit More that she does not feel the urge to become a mother. “Even the future seems difficult to me. I am not getting it from within; I don't feel the need to have a kid. I have many reasons, and I feel that when you find so many reasons, then you are not ready,” she stated.
