Chennai: Renowned actor Ajith Kumar recently returned to India after participating in the prestigious 24H Series – GT3 Pro-Am race at the iconic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. He made it back just in time to cast his vote in the upcoming Tamil Nadu State Assembly elections scheduled for Thursday.

Footage of Ajith's arrival at Chennai airport on Wednesday has been circulating widely on social media.

Ajith Kumar is known for prioritizing his voting responsibilities, often returning home well in advance of election day.

His racing team, Ajith Kumar Racing, achieved a remarkable second-place finish in the competitive 24H Series – GT3 Pro-Am race held in Belgium, bringing pride to the nation.

Ajith Kumar Racing also shared images of the team celebrating on the podium, along with a video clip featuring the actor and his team during the celebration. This isn't the first podium finish for Ajith Kumar Racing at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.

The celebrated Tamil actor had traveled to Belgium a week prior to the race to prepare for the demanding competition, which tests both skill and endurance. His team had been actively posting updates about their preparations through photos and videos throughout the week.

Last year, Ajith Kumar's team also secured second place in the Creventic Endurance Race at the same circuit, competing in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup category.

This victory marked the third consecutive podium finish for the team in the Creventic Endurance Series at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.

Previously, the team had made the nation proud by finishing third at an event held at the Dubai Autodrome on January 11 last year, followed by another third-place finish at the Mugello Circuit in Italy on March 22, 2025. Their success at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps last year was their third podium finish.
