Ajinkya Rahane, a former Indian cricketer, expressed his sorrow over the passing of veteran actor Nana Patekar, who died on Thursday. Rahane described Patekar as an extraordinary actor whose performances have inspired and entertained countless individuals across generations.


Nana Patekar passed away at 5:20 AM on Thursday due to a cardiac arrest at his home. Dr. Shekhar Salkar, the Chief of Oncology at Manipal Hospital, confirmed that CPR was administered for 45 minutes, but Patekar remained in asystole during the procedure.
