Box Office Success of 'Drishyam: The Conclusion'

The suspense thriller 'Drishyam: The Conclusion', featuring Ajay Devgn, continues to dominate the box office, showing no signs of slowing down. From its opening day, the film has captivated audiences, and its impressive earnings reflect its popularity. With a record-breaking debut, this film is now outpacing the lifetime earnings of several major releases.

'Drishyam: The Conclusion' has achieved the third-largest opening in Bollywood history and is still performing strongly at the box office. In just three days, the film is on track to reach the ₹200 crore milestone.

The anticipation for 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' was palpable even before its release, and the box office figures now reflect the excitement. Advance ticket sales surpassed ₹50 crore, with around 1.3 million tickets sold ahead of the premiere, indicating that the film was set to break records.

On its opening day, 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' made a remarkable net collection of about ₹62 crore in India, placing it among the Hindi films with the highest openings. The earnings from the first day hinted at the film's potential for future success.

Despite a slight decrease in earnings on Saturday compared to Friday, the film still managed to earn around ₹53.50 crore. Within just two days, Ajay Devgn's film crossed the ₹100 crore threshold, raising expectations for its weekend performance. The film continued to perform well on Sunday, reportedly surpassing ₹150 crore by 5 PM. With an occupancy rate of approximately 42% during Sunday morning shows, theaters remained busy. In just three days, Ajay Devgn's film has already outperformed the lifetime collections of several other films.

This includes Salman Khan's *Sikandar* (₹107 crore) and Prabhas's *The Raja Saab* (around ₹138 crore). Additionally, Ajay Devgn's *Shaitaan* earned ₹144 crore, while Emraan Hashmi's *Awarapan 2* collected about ₹150 crore.

'Drishyam: The Conclusion' is on track to join the ranks of films with extraordinary opening weekends. If the current earnings trend continues, it could potentially break records set by *War* (₹166 crore) and *Sultan* (₹180 crore). However, surpassing the figures of *Animal* (₹202 crore) and *Stree 2* (₹204 crore) will be a significant challenge for this Ajay Devgn film.
