Aditya Dhar's Heartfelt Tribute to His Team

As the film Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues its impressive performance at the box office, director Aditya Dhar has been expressing his appreciation for his team on social media. Recently, he praised cinematographer Vikash Nowlakha, referring to him as the soul of the film. Now, he has shared a special acknowledgment for the editor of the Ranveer Singh starrer, Shiv Kumar Panicker, who managed to deliver the film's editing in a remarkably short time.

Dhar noted that while editing a film like Dhurandhar typically takes years, Shiv's talent and commitment allowed for an expedited process. He described Shiv as a close friend and confidant who has consistently supported him throughout his filmmaking journey.

Aditya Dhar's Praise for Shiv Kumar Panicker

Aditya emphasized that their relationship is founded on trust and loyalty, highlighting Shiv's steadfast support and dedication. He remarked that Shiv is willing to go to great lengths for him and never compromises on his principles or work ethic. The director also commended Shiv's exceptional skills as an editor, noting his deep understanding of storytelling, rhythm, and emotion, which breathe life into films.

In his post, Dhar wrote, "He doesn’t just edit a film, he breathes life into it. With Dhurandhar, what he accomplished feels nothing short of miraculous. While the decision to split the film into two parts was mine, the responsibility of executing that decision rested entirely on him. The way he managed that, shaping and elevating the film, was extraordinary."

Despite facing immense pressure and tight deadlines, Shiv successfully edited the large-scale film in just a few days, a feat that Dhar initially thought was nearly impossible. He also revealed that Panicker's contributions extended beyond editing; he was involved in various stages of production, acting as a "silent co-director."

Dhar concluded by expressing that he cannot envision making films without Shiv, stating that the editor's influence on his career is immeasurable. "There are individuals like Shiv who become integral to your journey in ways that words cannot fully express. Endless love, respect, and gratitude. Dhurandhar will always carry his heartbeat," he wrote.
