Television star Aditi Sharma has recently garnered attention after lodging a domestic violence complaint against her spouse, Abhinit Vidyanandu Koshik, along with his mother, Urmila Koshik, and sister-in-law, Kiri Koshik. An FIR was filed at the Goregaon police station on July 31, leading to an investigation by the Mumbai police into the serious allegations. In her complaint, Sharma outlines claims of physical and emotional abuse, domestic violence, assault, verbal mistreatment, and the alleged misappropriation of her bridal jewelry.

Aditi first crossed paths with Abhinit during an online acting course in June 2021. Their relationship evolved to living together by September 2024, culminating in their marriage on November 12, 2024, with both families' approval. However, Sharma asserts that her husband's behavior shifted dramatically post-wedding, resulting in frequent disputes over minor issues, including her attire. She alleges that rather than sharing household expenses, her husband often took money from her.

The situation reportedly intensified on January 1, 2025, when a simple disagreement over coffee escalated into an abusive encounter. Following this incident, Sharma claims her husband grew increasingly distrustful, accusing her of infidelity and monitoring her phone activities. She also mentions that he began sleeping in a different room and limited her contact with her parents. Furthermore, Sharma accused her mother-in-law of refusing to return her bridal jewelry, which consists of gold chains, rings, a diamond ring, a mangalsutra, and bangles, despite her persistent requests.

In light of Aditi Sharma's allegations, the Goregaon police have initiated an FIR against her husband and in-laws, and an investigation is currently in progress. The accused parties have yet to make any public comments, and the allegations remain unproven in a court of law.
