In an exclusive chat with Zoom, Kothare praised Ranbir, calling him one of the most genuine actors in contemporary Indian cinema.

During his conversation with Zoom, Addinath remarked, “Ramayana is an extraordinary and ambitious project in Indian cinema. I take immense pride in being part of it. I had the opportunity to observe Ranbir Kapoor in action, and he is truly one of the most dedicated and sincere actors I have encountered.”

The series features Pushkaraj Chirputkar, is directed by Shrirang Godbole, and is based on the renowned literary work of Baburao Arnalkar. It was produced by Indian Magic Eye and Storyteller's Nook, premiering on May 1.
Details on Ramayana
Ramayana is set to hit theaters this Diwali and includes a star-studded cast featuring Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. The film will also showcase Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Arun Govil as Dashrath, Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari, and Rakul Preet Singh as Shurpanakha. Additional cast members include Amitabh Bachchan as Jatayu and the film's narrator, Vivek Oberoi as Vidyut Jihva, Suhail Nayyar as Sugriva, and Kunal Kapoor as Indra. Ramayana is planned as a two-part series, with the first installment releasing this Diwali and the second part slated for 2027. According to co-producer Namit Malhotra, the total budget for the film series is estimated at around USD 500 million, or approximately Rs 4,000 crore, although specific budget details have not been disclosed.
