Hyderabad, Dec 4: The production team of the highly anticipated pan-Indian film 'Nagabandham', directed by Abhishek Nama, has commenced shooting for the film's climactic sequence. This segment features prominent actors Virat Karrna, Nabha Natesh, and Iswarya Menon in leading roles.
Insiders reveal that this climax scene, being filmed at Ramanaidu Studios, is one of the most ambitious ever crafted for a mythological action drama, with a staggering budget of Rs 20 crore allocated just for this segment.
'Nagabandham' is described as a passion project for director Abhishek Nama, who is meticulously overseeing the filming of this pivotal scene.
At the heart of this grand finale is an elaborate set designed by Ashok Kumar, featuring a monumental sacred door that reflects the magnificence of ancient temple architecture. To elevate the action, the filmmakers have enlisted the expertise of renowned Thai stunt coordinator Kecha Khamphakdee.
The film boasts a stellar cast, including Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon as the female leads, alongside Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma, and B.S. Avinash in supporting roles.
The narrative delves into the concealed secrets of India's ancient Vishnu temples, particularly focusing on the sacred tradition of Nagabandham. Drawing inspiration from recent treasure discoveries at temples such as Padmanabhaswamy and Puri Jagannath, the story explores the rich mythology surrounding these divine sites and the mysterious rituals intended to protect them. The film aims to present these ancient enigmas through a contemporary lens.
Cinematography is handled by Soundar Rajan S, with music composed by Abhe and Junaid Kumar. The dialogues are crafted by Kalyan Chakravarthy, while editing is managed by Santosh Kamireddy. Ashok Kumar also serves as the art director.
'Nagabandham' is set to be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film is shaping up to be an epic adventure, carrying the tagline "The Secret Treasure."
Abhishek Nama has both written the story and screenplay for this project, which is produced by Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy.
