Box Office Success for Aamir Khan's Latest Film


New Delhi: The much-anticipated film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, featuring the renowned Aamir Khan, has made a remarkable debut at the box office, raking in ₹11.7 crore on its first day, as confirmed by the production team on Saturday.


Directed by RS Prasanna, this film is co-produced by Aamir Khan along with Aparna Purohit and Ravi Bhagchandka.


The screenplay, crafted by Divy Nidhi Sharma, saw its theatrical release on Friday.


Described as a spiritual successor to the beloved film ‘Taare Zameen Par’, this new project emphasizes themes of empowerment and inclusivity.


In this film, Aamir portrays a basketball coach who guides ten individuals with disabilities.


The cast also includes Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.


This film marks Aamir's return to the big screen following his role in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which featured Kareena Kapoor Khan and was released in 2022. The latter was an adaptation of the classic ‘Forrest Gump’ from 1994.
