On July 5, Bollywood icon Aamir Khan is set to marry Gauri Spratt in a private ceremony at his Mumbai home. The couple plans to formalize their marriage under the Special Marriage Act (SMA), 1954, marking a new beginning for Aamir's family as they embrace Gauri. While Aamir comes from a prominent film lineage, Gauri is not part of the entertainment industry. Aamir's journey began as the son of filmmaker Tahir Hussain, and he has a vast extended family, including connections to actress Aditi Rao Hydari through his previous marriage to Kiran Rao.

Aamir Khan was born to filmmaker Tahir Hussain and his wife Zeenat. His father produced notable films like Caravan (1971) and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993). Aamir is also the nephew of renowned filmmaker Nasir Hussain, who became the family's patriarch after Aamir's father passed away.
