A Hilarious Encounter with a Talking Parrot and a Doberman
An Unexpected Challenge for the Mechanic
Mrs. Dubey called, stating, "I’m speaking from Nehru Nagar, Parijat Extension Q.NO. HIG B/16. My air conditioner isn’t functioning properly. Please come and fix it after I leave for the office this afternoon. The entire house will be locked, but the living room will be open."
She continued, "The key to the main door will be under the second flower pot nearby. You need to unlock the door and repair the AC in the living room!"
Mrs. Dubey warned, "There will be a Doberman in the living room, but don’t be afraid; it’s a trained dog. It won’t do anything unless commanded!"
She also mentioned, "There’s a parrot in a cage that talks a lot, but you mustn’t say a word to it! After you finish, lock the living room and put the key back under the flower pot. I’ll pay you when I return from the office in the evening. Is that clear?"
She reiterated, "Do not say anything to the parrot, or you’ll regret it!"
Later, the mechanic arrived and was startled to find the fierce Doberman lying near the sofa. However, the dog merely glanced at him before dozing off again.
As he moved closer, the parrot squawked, "Hey thief, what are you doing?" It continued to shout for two hours, making the mechanic's job unbearable until the AC was finally repaired!
The parrot called him a thief, a 'fat buffalo,' and hurled insults at him. At one point, the mechanic was so annoyed that he considered poking the parrot with a screwdriver, but he remembered Mrs. Dubey's warning and held back.
As he packed up to leave, the parrot taunted him again, "Hey thief, fat guy, what did you steal?"
The mechanic found it increasingly difficult to tolerate the bird's chatter. He thought Mrs. Dubey was just trying to scare him. After all, what could a caged parrot do to him?
He pulled out his screwdriver and approached the parrot, saying, "You little rascal, just wait!"
The moment he spoke, the parrot screeched, "Leave it, Tommy! Leave it!"
The mechanic fled in panic, and he remains in shock to this day!
