Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal, approximately seven lakh new voters have been added to the electoral rolls. However, the Election Commission has not disclosed the ages or any other details regarding these newly registered voters. Officials from the commission indicated that around 3.22 lakh of these voters are expected to participate in the first phase of voting, while the remaining approximately 3.88 lakh will cast their votes in the second phase.
