Amit Shah Criticizes Mamata Banerjee in Final Phase of West Bengal Election Campaign
Amit Shah's Strong Remarks Against Mamata Banerjee
On the last day of campaigning for the first phase of elections in West Bengal, Amit Shah, a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Union Home Minister, launched a fierce attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. During a rally in Chandipur, he asserted that it was time for Banerjee to step down. Shah claimed that just as the BJP has liberated the country from Naxalism, it would also rid the state of infiltrators. He warned that on the 23rd, TMC goons should not venture outside their homes, and predicted that the BJP would form the government after the results are announced on May 4, with plans to send infiltrators back to Bangladesh.
Shah criticized Banerjee for her apparent disregard for national security, stating that she only sees infiltrators. He accused her of attempting to install her nephew as Chief Minister and misleading the public by suggesting that an outsider would lead the state if the BJP wins. He confidently declared that the next Chief Minister of Bengal would be from the BJP, born in Bengal, and fluent in Bengali.
Amit Shah's Warning to TMC Supporters
Shah warned TMC supporters, saying, 'I advise Mamata's goons to stay indoors on the 23rd. The BJP government will be in place by the 5th. We will find and imprison those who deserve it, even from the depths of hell. I tell infiltrators to prepare for their return to Bangladesh, as counting will take place on the 4th and the BJP will form the government the next day. Under Modi's leadership, Bengal will embark on a journey from fear to trust.'
He further taunted Banerjee, stating, 'This is the last rally of the first phase, and I have come to tell you, Didi, it's time to say goodbye. You have troubled the people of Bengal for too long. Your time is up, and the lotus will bloom.' He emphasized that Banerjee is only concerned about her vote bank of infiltrators and is misleading the public about the next Chief Minister.
Commitment to Eradicate Infiltrators
Focusing on the issue of illegal infiltrators, Shah stated, 'The BJP has freed the country from Naxalism, and I assure you that we will work to free the entire nation from infiltrators. There will be no place for them from the Bay of Bengal to the Indian Ocean. Many women and mothers have suffered atrocities here. Mamata says that women should not go out after 7 PM. Your time is over, Didi.'
He reassured women, saying, 'After May 4, under Modi's leadership, the BJP government will ensure that no goon will dare to raise their eyes against women, even if a young girl rides her scooter at 1 AM.'
Engaging Women Voters
Addressing women, Shah remarked, 'Mamata's goons have exploited our sisters in places like Sandeshkhali for years. I promise that we will identify and imprison every perpetrator of violence against women in Sandeshkhali, RG Kar, Durgapur Medical College, and South Kolkata Law College.'
He also mentioned the women's reservation bill, stating, 'Recently, Modi introduced a bill to provide 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies, but Didi has worked to defeat this bill.'
Conclusion
As the election approaches, Amit Shah's remarks reflect the BJP's strategy to consolidate support among women and address issues of security and governance in West Bengal.
