Women Deceive Beauty Salon for Expensive Treatments

Two Women Pull Off a Makeup Scam at UK Beauty Salon

Visiting a beauty salon to enhance one's appearance is a common desire among women, but it often comes with a hefty price tag. This was the case for two women who managed to receive luxurious beauty treatments without spending a dime. The owner of the salon is now on the lookout for them.

A Costly Makeup Session Turns into a Scam

This unusual incident took place in the UK, where Jade Adams, aged 28, operates a beauty clinic named Jade Louise Aesthetics. Jade took to Facebook to share the story of these two fraudulent women, who had booked an appointment at her salon.

Claiming to be mother and daughter, the duo indulged in various treatments, including makeup and Botox, racking up a bill of £48,942. However, when it came time to settle the bill, they cleverly devised a plan to escape. One woman pretended to wait in the lounge while the other claimed she was going to get payment from her.

As one left her coat behind to create the illusion of returning, both women stealthily slipped away, leaving the salon with a significant loss. Jade expressed her disappointment, stating that in her 18 years in the business, she had never encountered such deceit.

Jade also mentioned that the women's manner of speaking suggested they were experienced scammers, and others in the beauty industry informed her that their family might have a history of similar scams. Fortunately, Jade had taken a photo of one of the women, which she shared on Facebook along with the full story to warn others.

Additionally, Jade has filed a report with the police, who are now investigating the matter based on her information and the photograph.
