Robert Kiyosaki Warns of Impending Global Economic Crisis
Kiyosaki's Warning on Economic Downturn
Robert Kiyosaki, renowned for his book Rich Dad Poor Dad, has raised concerns about a potential global economic crisis. In a recent post on X, he reiterated his belief that the world is on the brink of a significant financial downturn, urging individuals to take proactive measures before it becomes too late.
Kiyosaki emphasized that economic downturns often alter wealth distribution, leading to substantial losses for some while creating opportunities for those who are prepared. He recalled similar warnings he made in his earlier work, Rich Dad's Prophecy, asserting that those who heeded his advice are currently in a more favorable financial position.
In his latest social media update, Kiyosaki stated, "REPEATING: Global economy is crashing. I predicted this in my book Rich Dad's Prophecy. Those that followed the guidance in that book are OK today." Despite his grim forecast, he believes investors still have a chance to adjust their strategies before the downturn's full impact is felt.
He urged, "It's not too late to make changes now. Remember, during every crash, many people are wiped out, while a few get richer. I want you to be one who gets richer." Although he did not provide specific investment strategies in this post, Kiyosaki has consistently advised diversifying into assets like gold, silver, and Bitcoin during uncertain financial times.
Kiyosaki's Preference for Precious Metals
Kiyosaki has recently reaffirmed his positive outlook on precious metals, aligning with veteran investor Jim Rogers' predictions regarding gold and silver prices. In a post from July 18, he acknowledged that both assets possess significant growth potential, despite facing occasional corrections.
He noted that gold prices had dropped from $5,405 to $4,006, while silver fell from $118 to $56. Kiyosaki pointed out that many investors make the mistake of buying after prices have already increased and selling during market corrections. "I agree with my friend Jim Rogers. During this last 'retracement' or 'crash,' I bought more gold and silver," he stated.
Discussing his ongoing investments in precious metals, he expressed skepticism about the ability of governments and central banks to address escalating economic issues. "The world economy is in great trouble, and I do not trust our leaders or central banks to solve the problem. In fact, they are the problem, and issues like debt and inflation will only rise," he remarked.
Kiyosaki concluded by posing a question to investors: would they prefer to "buy high and sell low" or "buy low and get rich?" He reiterated his conviction that "Gold and silver are going to the moon."
About Robert Kiyosaki
Robert Kiyosaki is an American entrepreneur, investor, and financial educator who gained fame through his bestselling book Rich Dad Poor Dad, first released in 1997. The book has sold millions of copies worldwide and remains a pivotal work in personal finance literature.
Throughout his career, Kiyosaki has consistently warned about the dangers of rising global debt, inflation, excessive money supply, and inherent weaknesses in the financial system.
