New Delhi: According to the latest government statistics released on Monday, retail inflation experienced a slight rise, reaching 3.4% in March, compared to 3.21% in February.
The consumer price index (CPI) data indicates that the increase in food prices was 3.87% in March, an uptick from 3.47% the previous month.
When broken down by region, CPI inflation was recorded at 3.63% for rural areas and 3.11% for urban regions.
