JGU Becomes First Institution of Eminence with DASCA Accreditation

Sonipat, May 7: O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) has made history by becoming the first Institution of Eminence in India to receive accreditation from the Data Science Council of America (DASCA). This globally recognized body sets industry standards for educational programs in data science, artificial intelligence, and analytics, placing JGU at the forefront of integrating these critical fields into higher education.

This accreditation is part of the World Data Science & AI Initiative (WDSAI), a global initiative by DASCA that aids universities in adopting internationally recognized standards. WDSAI offers support for accreditation, curriculum alignment, and access to global certification pathways, ensuring that graduates from JGU possess skills that are both academically robust and aligned with industry needs.

Seven of JGU's prominent programs related to AI and Data Science have successfully met DASCA's standards through the WDSAI framework. The accredited programs include:
