Market Valuation Surge: TCS and Infosys Lead the Charge

New Delhi: The total market capitalization of six of the ten most valuable companies increased by Rs 75,256.97 crore over the past week, with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys leading the gains.
During the same period, the BSE benchmark index fell by 338.3 points, equivalent to a 0.39 percent decrease.
Among the companies that saw an increase in valuation were Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, TCS, State Bank of India, Infosys, and Larsen & Toubro. In contrast, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) experienced a decline.
TCS's market valuation rose by Rs 22,594.96 crore, bringing its total to Rs 11,87,673.41 crore.
Infosys added Rs 16,971.64 crore to reach a valuation of Rs 6,81,192.22 crore.
The market cap of State Bank of India increased by Rs 15,922.81 crore, totaling Rs 9,04,738.98 crore, while Reliance Industries saw a rise of Rs 12,314.55 crore, reaching Rs 21,17,967.29 crore.
Bharti Airtel's market capitalization grew by Rs 7,384.23 crore to Rs 11,95,332.34 crore, and Larsen & Toubro's valuation increased by Rs 68.78 crore to Rs 5,60,439.16 crore.
On the downside, HDFC Bank's market cap fell by Rs 21,920.08 crore to Rs 15,16,638.63 crore.
LIC's valuation decreased by Rs 9,614 crore, bringing it down to Rs 5,39,206.05 crore.
ICICI Bank's market cap dropped by Rs 8,427.61 crore to Rs 9,68,240.54 crore, while Bajaj Finance's valuation fell by Rs 5,880.25 crore to Rs 6,27,226.44 crore.
Currently, Reliance Industries holds the title of the most valuable firm, followed by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, TCS, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Larsen & Toubro, and LIC.
