Market Surge: Top Firms Boost Valuations by ₹3.35 Lakh Crore

New Delhi: Last week, nine out of the ten most valuable companies in India saw their market valuations increase by ₹3.35 lakh crore, driven by a favorable trend in the stock market, primarily led by Reliance Industries.
Among the top ten firms, HDFC Bank, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever, and ITC experienced gains, while Bharti Airtel was the sole company to report a decline.
During the same period, the BSE benchmark index surged by 2,876.12 points, marking a 3.61% increase.
Reliance Industries' market valuation rose by ₹1,06,703.54 crore, reaching ₹19,71,139.96 crore. ICICI Bank's valuation also saw a significant increase of ₹46,306.99 crore, bringing it to ₹10,36,322.32 crore.
TCS's valuation climbed by ₹43,688.4 crore, totaling ₹12,89,106.49 crore. Infosys's market capitalization jumped by ₹34,281.79 crore to ₹6,60,365.49 crore, while HDFC Bank's valuation increased by ₹34,029.11 crore, reaching ₹14,80,323.54 crore.
Bajaj Finance's market valuation rose by ₹32,730.72 crore to ₹5,69,658.67 crore.
ITC's market capitalization increased by ₹15,142.09 crore to ₹5,45,115.06 crore, and State Bank of India saw a rise of ₹11,111.15 crore, bringing its total to ₹7,06,696.04 crore.
Hindustan Unilever's valuation climbed by ₹11,054.83 crore, reaching ₹5,59,437.68 crore.
Conversely, Bharti Airtel's market capitalization fell by ₹19,330.14 crore, totaling ₹10,34,561.48 crore.
Currently, Reliance Industries holds the title of the most valuable firm, followed by HDFC Bank, TCS, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever, and ITC.
