ITC Reports Significant Decline in Q4 Profits Amidst Revenue Growth
ITC's Q4 Financial Performance
ITC Q4 Results: In the March quarter of FY26, ITC experienced a notable 72.4% drop in consolidated net profit, which fell to Rs 5,469.74 crore from Rs 19,807.88 crore in the same quarter last year. The company attributed this significant decline to a one-time gain recorded in the previous year following the demerger of its hotel division. However, when compared to the previous quarter, ITC's profit saw a 9% increase from Rs 5,018.45 crore reported in Q3FY26. The consolidated revenue from operations for Q4FY26 reached Rs 23,821.48 crore, marking a nearly 17% rise year-on-year and a 10% increase from the preceding quarter. In Q3FY26, revenue was Rs 21,706.64 crore, while Q4FY25 recorded Rs 20,376.36 crore.
For the entire financial year 2026, ITC's consolidated profit decreased by 40% to Rs 21,018.15 crore, down from Rs 35,052.48 crore in FY25. Conversely, annual revenue from operations rose by 10.2% to Rs 89,913.33 crore, compared to Rs 81,612.78 crore the previous year. The company also reported a 6.9% year-on-year increase in consolidated EBITDA for the March quarter, with a 5.4% rise for the full financial year.
ITC's FMCG-Others segment showed robust growth during the quarter, with revenue increasing by 15% year-on-year to Rs 6,303.73 crore, and the EBITDA margin improving by 200 basis points to 11%. The company noted strong performance in categories such as staples, biscuits, snacks, noodles, dairy, premium personal care, home care, and agarbatti. Additionally, ITC highlighted impressive growth in its digital-first and organic product lines, which surged by 60% year-on-year, achieving an annual revenue run rate exceeding Rs 1,350 crore.
Dividend AnnouncementITC's Board of Directors has proposed a final dividend of Rs 8 per share for FY26. Shareholders eligible for this dividend will be determined based on the record date of Wednesday, 27 May 2026. The dividend payout is expected to occur between Friday, 24 July 2026, and Wednesday, 29 July 2026. Including the interim dividend of Rs 6.50 per share distributed on 27 February 2026, the total dividend for FY26 amounts to Rs 14.50 per share, slightly higher than the Rs 14.35 per share issued in FY25.
