The Forbes World's Billionaires List for 2026 showcases a remarkable presence of Indian women, with 21 individuals featured among a total of 229 billionaires from India, positioning the country in third place globally, following the United States and China. Leading the list is Savitri Jindal, the widow of Om Prakash Jindal, founder of the Jindal Group, boasting a net worth of $39.1 billion. She is followed by Rekha Jhunjhunwala, who has an estimated wealth of $8.3 billion, inherited from her late husband, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, often dubbed as India's Warren Buffett.



Renuka Jagtiani, chairwoman of the Dubai-based Landmark Group, ranks third with a net worth of $5.6 billion. Other notable figures include Smita Crishna Godrej of Godrej Enterprises Group at $5.4 billion, Falguni Nayar, founder of Nykaa, with $4.4 billion, and Vinod Rai Gupta of Havells India at $4.2 billion. Kumud Bajaj of Bajaj Group follows closely with $4.1 billion, while Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, founder of Biocon, has a net worth of $3.5 billion, showcasing the diverse sectors where women are excelling.
