Market analyst Ambareesh Baliga commented on the situation, stating, 'The renewed possibility of dialogue between the US and Iran has provided a sense of relief to the markets. As long as the Strait of Hormuz remains stable, the markets may eventually adjust to these geopolitical threats.' G. Chokkalingam, Head of Research at Equinomics Research, expressed optimism about the market's trajectory, suggesting that the ongoing conflict in West Asia is unlikely to persist, as it poses challenges for major global economies. He also noted that improved rainfall in India could lead to further gains, predicting a potential rise of 5% in the Sensex and Nifty over the next one to three months.
Recent reports indicate that the United States has refrained from launching attacks on Iran, as regional mediators work to reduce tensions. The Trump administration is reportedly focused on achieving a resolution, while discussions regarding a potential nuclear agreement are ongoing. However, there have been reports of explosions in southern Iran for the third consecutive day, including near Bushehr, where the country's nuclear power plant is located. Experts advise that the situation between the US and Iran should be monitored closely as it continues to evolve.
