New Delhi, April 17: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has announced the selection of 10 Indian startups for the second cohort of the IndiaAI Mission's global acceleration program, designed to assist local companies in expanding their reach internationally.

This initiative, known as the IndiaAI Startups Global Acceleration Programme, is being executed in collaboration with Station F in Paris and HEC Paris. It is part of the government's larger strategy to enhance India's role in the global AI landscape.

The government stated that each cohort consists of 10 startups that will receive essential resources, mentorship, and access to international networks to facilitate their global growth.

This program aligns with India's National AI Strategy, emphasizing cross-border partnerships, exposure to global innovation, and integration into international markets.

The startups chosen for this cohort include AI Health Highway, Awiros, Cognecto, Flaunt, GreenFi.ai Climateforce Technologies, Infiheal Healthtech, InLustro Learning, PredCo, SkyServe (Hyspace Technologies), and TestAIng Solutions.

These companies were selected through a rigorous multi-stage process and will engage in a structured program that includes a three-week online preparatory phase followed by a three-month residency in Paris.

During their residency, participants will have the opportunity to connect with mentors, industry experts, and network with key players in the French and European tech sectors.

In March, Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT, Jitin Prasada, reported to Parliament that over 38,000 GPUs have been made available and 190 projects have been approved under the IndiaAI Mission. Additionally, the Semicon India Programme has authorized 10 semiconductor units to enhance domestic chip production.

He also mentioned in the Lok Sabha that 38,231 GPUs have been onboarded through a shared compute facility, which are being offered to startups and academic institutions at subsidized rates of approximately Rs 65 per GPU per hour.
