India's Economic Milestone

BJP leader Pradeep Bhandari has made a statement regarding India's economy, declaring that the nation has now become the fourth largest economy in the world. He attributes this achievement to the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Under Modi's vision, India's economy has strengthened across all sectors over the past eleven years. Amid global uncertainties, India is emerging as a beacon of hope.

He further stated that in the coming years, India is expected to surpass Germany, becoming the third largest economy globally. Bhandari emphasized that the key contributors to this growing economy are the women, youth, underprivileged communities, and small entrepreneurs of the country. Without their support, reaching this economic milestone would not have been possible.

Steps Towards a Developed India by 2047

Bhandari remarked that this progress is a step towards the vision of a developed India by 2047. He noted, 'India has become the fourth largest economy in the world, with an economy valued at $4 trillion. In just a few years, we will surpass Germany to become the third largest economy.'

Criticism of Congress

The BJP leader criticized the Congress party, stating that what Congress failed to achieve in 70 years has been accomplished by the NDA government under Modi's leadership in just 11 years. He pointed out that India should not forget that eleven years ago, during Congress's rule, the economy was categorized as one of the 'Fragile Five.' At that time, India was not even among the top ten economies in the world. This transformation has been made possible due to Modi's leadership.

In fact, BVR Subrahmanyam, the CEO of NITI Aayog, confirmed that India has surpassed Japan to become the fourth largest economy globally. Today, we boast a $4 trillion economy. Citing data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Subrahmanyam stated that India's economy is now larger than Japan's, with only the USA, China, and Germany ahead of us. If we continue on this trajectory, we will overtake Germany in about 2.5 years to become the third largest economy.
