Important Updates for Kotak Mahindra Bank Credit Card Users

Changes to Myntra Kotak Credit Card
Kotak Mahindra Bank has issued a notice for its credit card holders regarding significant changes. The bank will cease the Myntra Kotak Credit Card effective July 10, 2025. This transition may alter how users handle their transactions, rewards, and overall credit card experience. All current Myntra Kotak Credit Card users will be transitioned to the Kotak League Platinum Credit Card automatically. This initiative is part of Kotak Bank's strategy to unify its credit card offerings and enhance its rewards program.
Overview of Kotak League Platinum Credit Card
The Kotak League Platinum Credit Card is designed as a premium lifestyle card, offering broader usability and greater rewards potential. However, it is crucial for cardholders to manage their spending responsibly. Users should aim to keep their credit utilization below 30% of their total limit to maintain financial health and a good credit score.
New Changes Effective July 1
As per the updated terms from Kotak Bank, which took effect on June 1, 2025, certain expenditures will no longer qualify for reward points. This includes payments for utility bills, fuel purchases exceeding ₹4,000 per billing cycle, wallet top-ups, educational expenses, and online gaming transactions. Cardholders must be cautious about their spending habits to continue earning rewards. This policy will apply to both existing and future Kotak Bank credit cards.
Key Benefits of the Kotak League Platinum Credit Card
The Kotak League Platinum Credit Card provides various advantages for frequent spenders. According to the official website of Kotak Mahindra Bank, cardholders can earn 8 reward points for every ₹150 spent on general purchases.
