EPFO Announces Temporary Suspension of Online Services for System Upgrade
Important Notice for EPFO Users
For those planning to utilize the online services of the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), there is crucial information to note. Due to a technical upgrade and system maintenance, EPFO has announced that several online services will be temporarily unavailable from June 26 to June 28, 2026.
Affected Services
During this period, services such as PF withdrawal, online claims, account transfers, KYC updates, and others will not be accessible.
According to EPFO, the following online services will be temporarily suspended:
- PF Withdrawal
- Online Claim Submission
- PF Account Transfer
- Pension Claim Services
- KYC Update
- Various UAN-based online facilities
- Some services related to Joint Declaration
If you have already submitted a claim, please be aware that processing may experience delays.
Reason for Service Suspension
EPFO is undertaking a technical upgrade and server migration to enhance the security, speed, and modernity of its digital platform. This is the reason for the temporary unavailability of the online portal and associated services.
Resumption of Services
EPFO has stated that all services will gradually resume normal operations after June 28, 2026. However, if the technical work is completed ahead of schedule, some services may be restored earlier.
Advice for Employees
If you need to perform any essential tasks related to PF withdrawal, claims, UAN updates, or account transfers, please wait until the services are back online to submit your applications.
Those who have already applied need not worry; the processing of pending applications will continue normally after the technical upgrade is completed.
EPFO's Recommendations
EPFO has urged members and employers to avoid unnecessary logins or repeated applications on the portal during this period. All online services will be available as usual once they are restored.
