Singh Deo emphasized Odisha's prominent role in mineral production, noting that the state accounts for 92% of India's chromite reserves and has substantial rare earth mineral deposits along its coast. The conversation also delved into opportunities for Foreign Direct Investment, especially in mining and value-added sectors.

The Canadian representatives showed a strong interest in investing in Odisha's automobile industry. Both parties explored strategies to boost bilateral trade and utilize technology partnerships for sustainable industrial advancement.
