Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Unveils New Features with Enhanced Power
Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Gets a Major Update
Bajaj Auto has refreshed its popular motorcycle, the Pulsar NS200, introducing a range of new features and technical enhancements. The updated model now boasts a 5-inch TFT display, ride modes, traction control, and a sturdier upside-down (USD) front fork compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the engine's power has been increased, generating 25.5 BHP instead of the previous 24.5 BHP from its 199.5 cc engine. The starting ex-showroom price for the updated Bajaj Pulsar NS200 in Delhi is set at ₹1,60,374.
Key Changes in the New Pulsar NS200
One of the most significant updates in the new Pulsar NS200 is the incorporation of electronic throttle-by-wire (ETB) technology. This advancement allows for features such as ride modes and traction control, enhancing the riding experience. The motorcycle also includes a sports shifter and replaces the old LCD instrument console with a new 5-inch TFT display, which supports Google Maps mirroring for easier navigation.
These updates aim to modernize the bike, making it more technologically advanced compared to earlier models.
Enhanced Features and Hardware
The new Pulsar NS200 comes equipped with several useful features, including adjustable levers that allow riders to customize their setup. Other additions include a panic brake alert system, a USB Type-C charging port, and a hazard switch. The panic brake alert system helps notify vehicles behind in case of sudden braking, while the USB port enables charging of electronic devices during rides.
The motorcycle's hardware has also seen improvements, with the updated model featuring 37 mm upside-down front forks, compared to the previous 33 mm forks. This change enhances the bike's handling and overall riding experience.
Engine Specifications and Performance
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 retains its 199.5 cc single-cylinder, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The maximum power output has been increased to 25.5 BHP from 24.5 BHP. Instead of making significant changes to the engine's configuration, the company focused on enhancing power and improving electronic features.
The motorcycle maintains its perimeter frame design, ensuring stability and performance.
Conclusion
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 remains a key model in the Pulsar NS series, which includes other variants like the NS125, NS160, and NS400Z. With the latest updates, the company aims to attract customers looking for advanced technology, enhanced safety features, and impressive performance in the 200 cc segment. The starting price of ₹1,60,374 positions this updated model as a competitive option for streetfighter motorcycle enthusiasts.
