Upcoming Renault Triber Facelift: New Features and Launch Timeline

Renault Triber Facelift Testing Revealed
The Renault Triber facelift has been seen undergoing tests, showcasing a variety of new design elements for its front section. According to previous announcements from the brand, both the Kiger and Triber are set to receive facelifts in 2025. The latest test mule indicates several design modifications.
Exterior and Interior Enhancements of the 2025 Renault Triber
Recent sightings of the Triber test mule have provided a closer look at its updated features. The revamped MPV is expected to feature redesigned headlights, complete with a sleek LED strip along the top edge. Given that Nissan is also planning a new MPV, similar updates may be applied to their upcoming 7-seater model.
Additional changes include a restructured front bumper with a larger air intake, a fresh grille design, and new LED signature lighting in both the headlights and taillights.
Interior Upgrades
The facelifted Triber is anticipated to introduce a completely redesigned dashboard, featuring lighter color schemes, enhanced soft-touch materials, and an expanded list of features. The powertrain is expected to remain unchanged, utilizing a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine that produces approximately 72 horsepower and 96 Nm of torque. Transmission options are likely to include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
Upcoming Renault Duster and Hybrid Variants
Recent updates indicate that the Renault Duster Hybrid is slated for launch in early 2026. A 7-seater variant, known as the Bigster, is expected to be unveiled within 6 to 12 months following the Duster's release. Reports suggest that this model may feature a robust hybrid powertrain.
Production of the new Duster will commence at Renault Nissan's facility in Chennai, with the launch anticipated in early 2026. Initially, the vehicle will be available with a petrol engine, and Renault has confirmed that turbo-petrol options will also be offered. Hybrid variants are expected to follow within 6-12 months of the initial launch.
Renault's Future Lineup: Kwid and Dacia Spring
Renault India is looking to revitalize its lineup, which currently includes the Kwid, Triber, and Kiger. Plans are underway to introduce a new Duster and an electric hatchback that has been spotted during testing.
The vehicle, referred to as the new Kwid EV, has been seen testing since 2024. Recently, it was observed in Tamil Nadu, where both Nissan and Renault operate. The Kwid appears similar to the Dacia Spring EV available in international markets.
If the Dacia Spring is rebranded as the Kwid in India, it will likely feature the same 26.8 kWh battery, offering a range of 220 km on a single charge. Alternatively, a localized version may be developed to provide a cost-effective option.
