New Harley Davidson photo leaked, will give Royal Enfield a tough competition in India

Harley Davidson has struggled to gain a foothold in India. However, the company still wants to capture market share in one of the world’s fastest-growing automobile markets. Photos of the new Harley Davidson have been leaked on social media indicating that Harley may be planning to launch a new 300cc bike. This bike can be launched in India to challenge the royalty of Royal Enfield in India.

An all-black 300cc roadster is shown in the photos. The bike shares a strong design element like other popular Harley bikes such as the Iron 883. According to a report by HT Auto, the bike is expected to have a 296 cc V-twin engine. The engine can be offered with a weight of 160 kg with a power of 30hp.

The company can keep the top speed of this bike at 130 mph. The bike is expected to get a 1400 mm wheelbase. The bike will have 16-inch alloys at the front and 16-inch alloy tires at the rear. This bike will be with ABS standards. The new Royal Enfield contender is yet to be officially announced, but speculations are on about a possible 300cc Harley Davidson from 2019 onwards.

The company has partnered with Qianjiang, a Chinese company that owns Italian bike manufacturer Benelli. The new bike is expected to be based on the Benelli 302s. Although there is no official confirmation from the company yet, the bike can be revealed in the picture at any time.
