Translation of Sankardev's Life Story into Urdu: A Cultural Milestone

Translation of a Significant Work
Nalbari, July 6: The Hindi publication titled Lohit ke Manasputra: Sankardev, which explores the life of Srimanta Sankardev, is set to be translated into Urdu. This announcement was made by the esteemed scholar and author, Dr. Sanwarmal Sanganeria. He mentioned that Dr. Sayama Samreen, affiliated with the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) in Delhi, is undertaking the translation. This initiative is a source of pride not only for Sankardev's followers but also for the people of Assam.
The initial edition of Lohit ke Manasputra: Sankardev was released in 2010. Due to its widespread acclaim, it has seen four editions published to date, with plans for a fifth edition in progress. The book has previously been translated into Malayalam, Marathi, and Assamese, and this upcoming Urdu translation marks another significant advancement in fostering national unity and cultural exchange.
