During the event, distinguished children's author Dr. Malti Basant was honored with the 'Ahad Prakash Bal Sahitya Gaurav Samman 2025,' while celebrated ghazal poet Dr. Ambar Abid received the 'Ahad Prakash Ghazal Gaurav Samman 2025.' The chief guest was Kanta Roy, director of the Short Story Research Center, with Dr. Sadhana Balwate, director of Nirala Srijan Peeth, presiding over the ceremony. Farzana Ahad, the late Ahad Prakash's wife, was also present.
