This 20-Year-old McDonald’s burger still looks fresh and new

It is generally believed that burgers do not spoil quickly and something similar has been seen in America, a person here has claimed that she has a 20-year-old burger that still looks new today. The man bought this burger from McDonald’s in Logan. However, the meat of this burger has started to smell like crap.

The person is David Whipple bought this burger for testing enzymes in 1999 but accidentally left the burger in the pocket of his coat in the back of his car and was in Logan. David Whipple then moved from Logan to St. George’s Utah and stayed there for a long time.

After a few days David’s wife giving him the coat saying that something is kept in it and when David took that thing out he saw that the burger is still looking fresh after many years. The burger was first spotted in 2013 and stored it in a box of couches and after that when he saw it was looking fresh.

A similar case came in the headlines from European country Iceland, the burger and fries that have been kept there for 10 years are still safe and eatable. The special thing is that people come from all over the world to see it and they are surprised to see why it has not deteriorated for so many years.

A senior lecturer in Food Science at the University of Iceland has cited the reason for the burger not being spoiled yet due to lack of moisture and at the same time, the company says that in the right environment our products do not get spoiled than others and that is the reason why these burgers and fries are not spoiled yet.
