Yuvraj Sandhu's Final Round Struggles

Yuvraj Sandhu faced a challenging final round at the 2026 Turkish Airlines Open, where he had been on track for a top-10 finish. After completing the first three rounds with scores of 69, 71, and 71, he was positioned well within the top-10. However, his performance deteriorated on the back nine, where he encountered a double bogey and four additional bogeys, managing only one birdie. He ended the day with a score of 5-over 77, resulting in an overall score of even par for the tournament, which dropped him to a tie for 43rd place, a fall of 34 spots.

Shubhankar Sharma also struggled, finishing tied for 65th with a total score of 2-over par after rounds of 70, 75, 74, and 74.

Mikael Lindberg's Historic Victory

Mikael Lindberg celebrated his first title on the DP World Tour, securing a two-stroke victory at the 2026 Turkish Airlines Open. The Swedish golfer, competing in his 70th event on the tour, finished with a final round score of 69, bringing his total to ten under par at the National Golf Club in Belek, Antalya. This win also qualifies him for the upcoming US PGA Championship.

At 33 years old, Lindberg's triumph places him at the top of the Asian Swing Rankings, earning him a spot in his first Major Championship at the US PGA Championship in two weeks. He will be joined by Bernd Wiesberger from Austria and American Jordan Gumberg, who finished second and third in the rankings, respectively.

The clubhouse target was initially set at seven under by Jacob Skov Olesen, later matched by Darius van Driel and Ewen Ferguson. However, the final showdown was between Lindberg, Rodrigues, and Guido Migliozzi, with Migliozzi trailing at eight under and three shots behind Lindberg with three holes remaining.

Rodrigues and Migliozzi finished tied for second at eight under, followed by Ferguson, Van Driel, and Olesen.
