The second night of WWE SummerSlam 2025 took place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This marked the inaugural two-night SummerSlam event in WWE's history, celebrating its 38th edition. The event commenced with WWE's Chief Content Officer, Triple H, introducing the night, followed by the first match featuring competitors from the Monday Night Raw roster.

Following this victory, Naomi is set to defend her Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer at the upcoming Clash in Paris on August 31. Vaquer earned her title shot by winning the number-one contender’s battle royal at the all-women Evolution premium live event last month. Naomi had previously cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to claim the Women’s World Championship during the main event of that night.
