The Wimbledon tournament is set to commence on Monday, with defending champion Carlos Alcaraz facing off against 38-year-old Fabio Fognini in the opening round. Meanwhile, world number one Jannik Sinner will take on fellow Italian Luca Nardi in his first match.

The tournament draw was revealed on Friday, highlighting Sinner's quest for his inaugural Wimbledon title, which may hinge on a potential semifinal showdown with the legendary Novak Djokovic, a seven-time champion at this prestigious event.

Sinner, ranked first, will compete against Nardi, while Djokovic, seeded sixth—his lowest ranking since 2018—will begin his campaign for an eighth Wimbledon title against French player Alexandre Muller, according to the ATP's official website.

Djokovic has previously triumphed over Sinner in both the quarterfinals of the 2022 Wimbledon and the semifinals in 2023. He is projected to meet British number one Jack Draper in the quarterfinals, with Draper set to face Sebastian Baez in his opener and potentially encounter Halle champion Alexander Bublik in the third round.
