Kohli and Ojha's Viral Conversation Sparks Speculation

As the second ODI between India and South Africa approaches on December 3 in Raipur, a video featuring Virat Kohli and selector Pragyan Ojha has gained significant attention. The footage shows Kohli and Ojha deep in conversation while waiting for their flight.

This video emerges amidst claims that the team management has been out of touch with senior players. Reports indicate that head coach Gautam Gambhir and chief selector Ajit Agarkar have not communicated with Kohli or Rohit Sharma for an extended period, leading to a perceived disconnect within the Team India dressing room. Additionally, there are suggestions that Agarkar is keen for both players to participate in the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy next month.

In the viral clip, Kohli appears to be explaining something important to Ojha, who listens intently and nods in agreement. The two are seen sitting closely together.

Gautam Gambhir can be seen seated a short distance away. Earlier, Ojha was spotted next to Gambhir before meeting Rohit Sharma, where they exchanged smiles and a handshake. Ojha and Rohit share a history as former teammates at the Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

The second ODI is scheduled for December 3 in Raipur. In the first ODI held on November 30 in Ranchi, both Kohli and Rohit played pivotal roles in India's 17-run victory. Kohli scored his 52nd ODI century with an impressive 135 runs, while Rohit achieved his third consecutive fifty-plus score in ODIs.

It is noteworthy that both Rohit and Kohli are currently focused solely on ODI cricket. They stepped back from T20 internationals following the 2024 T20 World Cup and announced their retirement from Test cricket in May 2025, taking a break for several months thereafter.
